Why You’re Not Getting Paid Brand Deals

With years of coaching creators, I have heard it all, but the biggest struggle by far is that they can’t land brand deals consistently.

Why the heck is it so hard to find long-term brand partners? There are a few things that you may need to work on to find brands to work with and create a more reliable source of income.

📝 TikTok launched their photo-sharing app, “TikTok Notes”, in Australia and Canada

  • They are hoping that people will share their moments through photo posts on this new app.

  • The app is laid out similarly to Pinterest and Lemon8.

  • You can add up to 34 images per post with the pictures being presented like a carousel.

  • There is a 4,000-character caption limit along with a title section.

📱 New guidance for creators on TikTok

  • They released more guidance for creators around their rules and expectations that include

    • Adding new warning notes for creators who violate its rules. The first strike is a warning strike that doesn’t count toward an account’s strike tally. They’ll notify the creator about which rule they’ve broken and how they can appeal it.

    • “Account check” element will let creators see if they have any restrictions on their account.

🤖 AI Chatbot on Instagram and Facebook

  • Meta AI is now integrated into search on Meta platforms.

  • It’s similar to ChatGPT, so you’ll be able to ask questions and get relevant info.

🎤 A new social network has the tech community buzzing

  • Airchat is a voice and text network that is similar to Twitter.

  • Users speak their posts and the system translates them into text where it is displayed in a Twitter-like feed.

💬 Meta is developing an AI tool that would allow creators to chat with fans through DMs

  • Anyone would be able to create their own custom AI chatbot to help enable creators with large followings to interact with fans.

🎥 Instagram is working on Experiment mode for Reels

  • It will show your reel to non-followers first, so it won’t appear on your profile unless you choose to share it with everyone.

  • Your reel will be archived after 24 hours if you choose not to share it with everyone.
