PAID USAGE RIGHTS
Take 20-25% of your FAIR rate. This is your paid usage right rate per 30-day period. Multiply by the number of months you are giving away paid usage rights for.

ORGANIC USAGE RIGHTS
Most creators do not charge for organic usage rights if they are getting paid for the content.

EXCLUSIVITY
Take anywhere from 10-50% of your FAIR rate. The percentage should be determined by how difficult it will be to remain exclusive (ex: If it’s a brand you work with a lot of their competitors, the rate should be 50% vs. a brand that you won’t work with any competitors = 10%).

This is your exclusivity rate per 30-day period. Multiply by the number of months you will be exclusive for.

RESHOOTS
Typically, 1-2 edits are included in a creator’s rate, but you are adding in an additional fee for reshoots into your contract of anywhere from 50-75% of the FAIR rate.

INSTAGRAM REEL/TIKTOK
You’ll find this rate by calculating your FAIR Rate via the calculator above. This rate is your STARTING rate for a simple Reel, but we recommend raising the rate for more complicated projects that ask more of you.

*If you are a creator with an extremely high follower count, you are likely going to get a substantial rate here. That rate is only likely to be accepted by enterprise-size companies. Consider offering a 15-30% lower rate for small to medium size companies.

INSTAGRAM CAROUSELS
We recommend charging about 75-85% of your FAIR Instagram Rate from the slide above for a carousel post on Instagram.

INSTAGRAM STORIES
Industry standard viewership on Instagram Stories is about 2% of your audience.

• If your average viewership is higher than that, we recommend charging about 40-60% of your FAIR rate for a 3-slide Story.

• If your average viewership is lower than that, we recommend charging about 15-25% of your FAIR rate for a 3-slide Story.
