Everything You Need to Know About Influencer Assistants With Olivia Pascale & Jessica Martin

As a creator, there are a lot of fun and creatively-fulfilling parts of the job. We get to make content, work with brands, and build communities online, but that also comes with responsibilities like managing emails, keeping track of campaigns, and so much more.

Today we’re here with Olivia Pascale and Jessica Martin, full-time influencers, co-owners of a digital creative agency, podcast hosts, and co-founders of Socially Ambitious, a course that teaches people to be irreplaceable influencer’s assistants.

They needed help managing different parts of their job, but they struggled to find an assistant that understood the influencer marketing industry enough to do things like pitching them to brands and managing their campaigns. Eventually, they found Anna, who as a micro-influencer herself, had the knowledge and skills related to influencer marketing that they were searching for.

They knew that other influencers were also struggling to find help, so they created a course that teaches people how to become irreplaceable influencer’s assistants, allowing influencers to devote more time to the parts of their job that they love and continue growing their creator business.

We talk all about what influencer assistants do, if all creators need one, and how much it costs to hire one.

We’re giving you the scoop on everything you need to know about influencer assistants.

The Social Scoop ⤵️
🤝 Instagram is working on the ability to let other creators know you’re interested in working together, or “open to collaborating”

  • It will be displayed as a status on your profile, direct messages, and when your profile appears in search.

💵 Meta is updating its monetization program for Reels creators, now paying creators based on the performance of their content instead of the ads shown alongside their clips.

  • Initially, they payouts will be determined by the number of plays, but they may incorporate other signals to payouts as time goes on.

  • This is starting on Facebook, but they are planning on testing a similar program on Instagram in the coming weeks.

🎶 TikTok is testing a new way to help musicians maximize their exposure while also giving creators to earn cash rewards.

  • A new “Work with Artists” option in Creator Tools allows creators to choose paid challenges based on certain songs. By creating a video with these promoted songs, creators will be eligible for cash rewards based on the engagement of the video.

  • Each song will have a listing that lays out the campaign of how creators can earn money, like having the most likes.
