🔎 Meta expanded access to the Creator Marketplace tool

  • This will give more businesses the ability to search for creators to work with on their Instagram campaigns.

  • They are also testing features that will use Instagram data to help brands discover creators who will fit their campaigns best more easily.

📸 TikTok is encouraging people to post photo carousels instead of videos through in-app promos

  • With this they are promising to “help you reach even more people.”

  • TikTok said that photo posts can get 2.9x more comments, 1.9x more likes, and 2.6x more shares on average than videos

✍️ Threads has rolled out a feature allowing you to draft posts

🙅 Instagram is working on a more advanced version of the “Limit unwanted interactions feature”

  • It will let you choose from the following options to limit who can comment and message you: everyone but your close friends, recent followers, accounts that you don’t follow you

  • You’ll be able to limit some interactions (comments and messages from accounts you limit unless you approve them) or most interactions (tags, mentions, and content remixing will be turned off for people you limit as well as comments and messages)
